Get to Know Trisha – The Heart Behind Rehab4U

“To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.” – Tia Walker

I’m the founder and CEO of Rehab4u, and a Physiotherapist with over 15 years’ experience dedicated to restoring movement, dignity, and independence for every client I serve.

After qualifying in 2010 from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, my career has spanned diverse healthcare settings across South Africa and New Zealand – from acute hospital care to community rehabilitation, leading multidisciplinary teams, and providing hands-on support for individuals on their recovery journeys.

My Specialisations in New Zealand Include:

My clinical focus is on musculoskeletal care (especially cervical and lumbar spine conditions), vestibular rehabilitation, and older adult health – areas I’m deeply passionate about. I work closely with retirement villages across Tauranga, Hamilton, the Bay of Plenty, and surrounding regions, offering hands-on services that reduce staff injury risk, ease caregiver strain, and enhance resident wellbeing.

Why Rehab4U Was Founded

Too many people – especially older adults – were missing out on essential movement due to their inability to stay active without relying on carers or therapists to maintain flexibility and comfort.

When I saw how active-passive exercise bikes could help clients preserve strength, mobility, and circulation with minimal effort or motivation, I knew something had to change.

That’s why I started Rehab4U: a service built on accessibility, empathy, and expert care – so you can stay independent, feel at ease in your body, and continue enjoying quality time with your children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
